The city of Santa Clara is hosting a virtual community meeting to discuss the proposed Head Count Tax this Thursday, May 19th at 6 pm via zoom.

Background Information:

The City of Santa Clara is exploring various revenue options to maintain the essential City services on which residents and businesses rely. While no decision has been made on which solutions to pursue, the Council is interested in gathering feedback from local community on service priorities and how the modernization of the City’s Business License Tax can create greater equity, fairness and ease of administration for Santa Clara businesses.

Please join this important community listening session to share your thoughts and feedback on how Santa Clara can invest in the City’s economic recovery and ongoing fiscal sustainability.

The Public Dialogue Consortium, an independent non-profit organization, will conduct the session.
