Public Policy

Get smart on the issues. The Public Affairs Committee ensures your voice is heard and provides NAIOP members with information and updates regarding local, statewide, and National legislative issues. Meet with elected officials, planning department representatives, and other entities that affect the development process.  Advocate for or against ballot measures locally and statewide.


The Membership Committee is responsible for proactively identifying new member prospects, tracking and reporting membership results to the board, welcoming new members and assisting in coordinating “member only” events.


Plans and implements a wide variety of programs focused on providing educational, social and networking opportunities for our membership. Standing events include the Broker’s Panel, Capital Markets Update, Developers Panel and Roundtable Series.


Annual golf tournament, hosting over 130 golfers in early fall.


Annual members only networking event.  Our largest gathering of NAIOP SV members and special VIP guests.

University Challenge

To plan the University Challenge event, sponsorships, theme, venue etc. Meets 4-6 times virtually prior to the February event.

Developing Leaders Committee

Enhance Connections. Developing Leaders (DL) is an exclusive program geared specifically toward professionals age 35 years and younger. Serving as advisors of the DL membership, the committee oversees planning and coordination of speakers for DL events, Rock Star Dinner, happy hour events, bocce ball social and provides mentoring and networking activities for current and alumni members.
