John Mozart

John Mozart grew up in Silicon Valley and graduated from San Jose State University. Mr. Mozart served in the U.S. Air Force prior to joining his father’s company, a Palo Alto based Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen dealership. In 1970, Mr. Mozart founded Eurasian Automotive Products, a foreign auto parts distribution company based in Palo Alto. He acquired property in Sunnyvale in 1971 to build a warehouse for his growing business.
Mr. Mozart subsequently expanded his real estate operation, developing two or three projects a year. In 1979, to concentrate all of his efforts on real estate development, he sold Eurasian Automotive Products, which had 140 employees.
Mr. Mozart has developed approximately 6 million square feet of Class-A office buildings and R&D space in the Bay Area over the past 30 years. In 1992, Mr. Mozart and Mr. Scott Ward founded Classic Communities, Inc., a developer of single family homes, having delivered over 2,200 new homes in Silicon Valley.
