Paul McManus, Vice Chair – Colliers
Paul McManus is a Vice Chair and one of the senior leaders of Occupier Services Bay Area (OSBA) in Silicon Valley. OSBA specializes in occupier representation providing clients with a platform of integrated services in local, national, and global markets. Paul is a senior point of contact on multiple accounts for OSBA and has vast experience with complex transactions both in Silicon Valley and in numerous markets throughout the world. Paul represents the interests of his corporate portfolio clients and scaling start-up clients, ranging from Fortune 100 firms (software, hardware, medical device, biotech and professional services) to venture capital-funded growth companies.
Mike Saign, Vice Chairman – Newmark
Mike Saign is a Vice Chairman in Newmark’s San Jose office and one of the firm’s most active advisors in Northern California. A Silicon Valley native, Saign specializes in developing and implementing customized real estate strategies for some of the region’s most prominent owners and occupiers. During his 18-year career, he has completed over 650 lease, sale, and advisory assignments valued in excess of $7 billion and totaling over 13 million square feet. Saign and his partners have routinely completed some of the Bay Area’s most significant and complicated office and R&D transactions annually involving global corporations to high growth startups in the technology, professional service and life science industries. He is one of the first real estate professionals in Silicon Valley to have earned Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation. Saign is known by clients for his market knowledge, tested transactional experience, work ethic, integrity, and competitive nature.
Chip Sutherland, Vice Chairman – CBRE
Chip Sutherland has been with CBRE since 1988. Over the past 35 years Chip has been a top performer, completing more than $3 Billion in sale, lease and land sale transactions. Throughout his career he has focused on both agency and tenant representation companies for local property owners, institutions and technology companies. Outside the office Chip enjoys spending time with his family and spending time outdoors. Chip has also completed the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon on numerous occasions.
Ken Young, Senior Vice President – Hudson Pacific Properties – Moderator
Kenneth Young joined Hudson Pacific in 2015 and serves as Senior Vice President, Leasing, where he provides oversight of the company’s office portfolio leasing in Silicon Valley. Prior to joining Hudson Pacific, Young worked at Equity Office Properties, where he served as Vice President, Leasing. Young also previously served as a Development Manager, Deputy Alliance Director at Trammell Crow Company, where he was responsible for oversight of base building development and redevelopment of office and R&D projects. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University.
