NAIOP Silicon Valley’s (NAIOPSV) is pleased to invite you to the most timely discussion of the summer…the State of Capital Markets!  NAIOPSV has arranged for some of the most highly regarded thought-leaders in Silicon Valley to share their perspectives on debt, equity, tenant relations and more.

Join us on August 30 at 1:00 pm for a one hour discussion featuring the best perspectives found in Silicon Valley.  The session will include Jon Mackey with Newmark, Bart Lammersen with JLL Silicon Valley, and Greg Cioth with Eastdil Secured as panelists, and will be moderated by Matt Lituchy with Jay Paul Company.

Meet the Moderator

Matt Lituchy, Chief Investment Officer, Jay Paul Company

Matt Lituchy joined Jay Paul Company in 2000. In his capacity as Chief Investment Officer, he oversees acquisitions, dispositions and new business opportunities as well as all capital and financing activities for the company. As a senior member of the company’s executive suite, his responsibilities also include strategic planning and overall company management. With over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Matt has raised over $10 billion in project financing and acquired in excess of $2 billion of commercial real estate for investment or redevelopment in Bay Area, San Diego County, and Texas. Prior to joining Jay Paul Company, Matt held senior management positions in commercial real estate finance for Bank of America and KeyCorp in San Francisco and New York. Matt served as the Past President of the East Cut Community Benefit District and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Silicon Valley chapter of NAIOP where he served as the 2013 Chapter President. He also serves on the Northern California Real Estate and Construction Council for the City of Hope, where he served as its President 2015‐2017. Matt has served as an Executive Producer in the film industry and is currently a Board Member of the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts. He is a passionate art collector and enjoys participating in motorsports and baseball.

Matt received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government Studies from Connecticut College and is active in the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP.

Meet the Panelists

Jon Mackey, Executive Managing Director, Market Leader, Newmark

Jon Mackey specializes in office and R&D sales and leasing on the San Francisco peninsula and in Silicon Valley. He has completed over 800 transactions totaling more than 9.0 million square feet and more than $1.0 billion in consideration.

Mr. Mackey is annually a top performer at the firm. His achievements include the CoStar PowerBroker designation; the firm’s Worn Shoe Award winner for most deals completed in a given year; and two-time winner of the Dealmaker of the Year Award presented by Equity Office Properties to the agent who completed the most deals in the county in a given year.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mackey worked for early-stage technology companies and idealab, a well-known incubator. While working for these various startups, Mr. Mackey worked on company business plans, met with investors to secure funding, and created and implemented the sales and business development strategy.

Bart Lammersen, Executive Managing Director, JLL 

Bart focuses on leading multi-market transaction teams, strategic planning, financial analysis and portfolio management for corporate clients.   Bart has experience with leasing, purchase & sale transactions, sale-leaseback, land development, sale dispositions, data center and industrial requirements.
Bart began his real estate career in 1995. In 1998, Bart was hired by The Staubach Company and through his 10 year career rose to become Co-Managing Partner in the Silicon Valley office. In 2008, The Staubach Company merged with JLL where Bart was named a Managing Director for the combined JLL-Staubach Silicon Valley office.   In 2013, Bart was promoted to International Director and in 2018 was promoted to Broker Lead for the JLL Silicon Valley office.

Greg Cioth, Managing Director, Eastdil Secured

Greg Cioth serves as the Managing Director of Eastdil Secured. Greg started at Eastdil Secured in July of 2005. Greg currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
